I thought this title was a little goofy over the Honolulu Advertiser, Wie improves by two strokes at Samsung event. I guess she did improve. She went from two consecutive days of 7 over par to a day of 5 over par. That’s definitely moving in the right direction.
But overall she sits in last place in a field most thought she shouldn’t even be considered for a sponsor exemption in. 19 over after 3 days. She had again today more bogeys and even a triple bogey!
The leader, Lorena Ochoa, sits at 12 under through 3 days of play.
I think a sponsors exemption may have backfired for her sponsors. True she hasn’t played for a while but it might have been best to keep it that way until she get into some larger fields with less hype and be one of the crowd over par rather than a sore thumb on the tournament big board.

Rubbish I stand by
She cheated earlier in the year when HER FATHER INSTRUCTED HER CADDIE TO GET HER TO withdraw as she was going to score too highly and that’s COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it was 37 behind the leaders total. It is getting a little old seeing the poor performances stack up. Maybe she’ll take the next 2 months to regroup. I figure she’ll be playing the sony open due to sponsor requirements.
We’ll see what happens. At least she finished on a higher note that she started out.
