Michelle Wie, Michelle Wie will stop playing against the men came in the last few weeks, and then her family responding that in fact Michelle may still play against the men.
I guess we know who makes the final decisions with regards to her career, which we give no opinion on either way.
The tournament will be played this July 12-15 and is the same tournament that Michelle Wie dropped out of because of heat exhaustion last year and ruffled quite a few feathers in during the process. This has also been called her best chance to make the cut in a men’s tournament.
We’ll wait to see who all shows up as the field hasn’t been set yet.

Hi Jim. Photos i received. Thanks
Wie needs to stop making excuses and admit she is not as good as thinks. She dropped out of a tournament 2 shots short of being dropped from tour for 12 months. What a shame she has let so many fans down with unfair actions.
No more updates in this website? This is one more of the many Wie websites you have discontinued posting due to her poor performance. I guess when things go bad, everyone jumps off the bandwagen! I thought now more than ever is when she needed your support…
Just lack of time, Hopefully I will be back to posting or will be able to find someone who wants to post about Michelle Wie on a regular basis.
problem is if you accept the cash and turn pro, then you also have to accept the harsh reality of pro sport criticism as well. it’s not the same as playing as an amateur without any strings. as many in hawaii may or may not know, it’s easy to play at home, but on the road it’s way way tougher.
Hey, all you perfection demanding critics, how were you when you were seventeen? Let her her start low as most do after game affecting injuries. We will be better able to assess her “character” when she is, what?, twenty or so and has “come back” or has worn herself out trying, or has resigned herself to being like the rest of us.
