Michelle Wie is just 17 years young and trying to make cuts in the ever increasingly competitive PGA tour. Although making the cut, and even more so finishing consistently in the top ten is high on her list, she’s still looking forward to graduating from high school.
Michelle Wie attends the prestigious Punahou High School on the island of Oahu, part of the Hawaiian Islands. She’s just like every other person at the school except she plays on the PGA tour and makes more money in a year than most of the students at the school will make in a lifetime.
But she’s still excited about graduating. It’s a big step in any teenagers life and now Michelle Wie won’t be just finishing school to jump right into the professional sports world. Even though she turned pro a little over a year ago which means she lost all eligibility to play in college sports, Michelle Wie will still be attending college at Standford University, this fall.
